Big Sandy Cay

Before we left the Turks and Caicos completely, we stop for one night at South Caicos to check out of customs then sailed to Big Sandy Cay as our jumping off point to Luperon.  Big Sandy was a deserted island.  It was so beautiful there that we took an extra day and night to swim and explore the island.

Beautiful view of the harbor side and the ocean side
There's Ghost- the single boat in this amazing harbor and Casper, the dinghy.
Once we climbed to the top of the ridge- we found these two block buildings...
Inside the block building was this eere man hole that had stairs going down below.  Too dark to explore...
It seems so out of place...
 That says:
Keep Out
US Gov't
Property
 Fallen light tower

 Ghost

 Ivy and Runyon

back on the boat- more sunset self portraits and what I'm reading right now... The Seventh Scroll by Wilber Smith.  Egyptian murder mystery!  found it at the Turtle Cove Marina
