motoring S at 4.8 knots, planning to arrive 9am Sunday at Marsh Harbor.
We motored all day today. The wind was coming straight at our nose preventing us from sailing at all. We’re all pretty worn out and just want to get there already!! We’re running low on sleep, fuel and really wishing we had packed some beer so we could crack open a cold one. Luckily we have raspberry sorbet which is my favorite! Our only problem is getting to Marsh Harbor too soon in the middle of the dark early morning. We’ve slowed down from 6.4 knots to 4.5-5 knots which will hopefully put us in the harbor at 9am. The Abaco Sea is very shallow and boat traffic is high so we want to get in there when visibility is good so we don’t run aground.
Ivy working on the generator- it keeps turning itself off after an hour or so of running...
I'm loving the Kindle! Just finished reading The Lost Gate by Orson Scott Card
